space flight planetarium

Opened in 1974 and modernised in 2001, the Cottbus Space Flight Planetarium provides ideal conditions for true to original presentations of the events happening in the universe. In the astrodome room each interested person is invited to take part in a journey to the stars through time and space. An up-to-date projector that creates a model of the sky allows the flight through the world of the stars, both into the past and into the future. For almost 1 million visitors the window to the cosmos has already opened.
